Uprice
A service connected to Shopify that reads supplier price lists, applies the merchant's margins and updates the store's prices in one click, after approval.
The need
When a supplier changes its prices, the Shopify store doesn't follow. Most suppliers have no API: they send an Excel file, and the merchant has to find each reference, work out the new selling price and change it by hand.
A single coefficient doesn't fit every product: a margin that works on a 12 € item doesn't work on a 1,300 € one.
The solution
The merchant uploads the file as the supplier sends it (Excel, CSV or TSV). Once per supplier, they say which columns hold the reference and the purchase price.
Uprice matches each reference to the Shopify catalogue and applies the margin tiers the merchant wrote, for example "×2 up to 100 €, then ×1.5, end with .99".
Nothing reaches the store without approval: a preview shows the current and new price of each line, changes above 50 % are flagged and unchecked by default, and only the checked lines are sent to Shopify in one click.
